"A new year is supposed to be reserved for new beginnings, for change, for feelings of hope, but on Oshawa streets, a shocking wave of violence has left many residents feeling nothing but stunned."

It really was a scary start to the year here in Oshawa. When things started taking a turn for the worse, I took the questions to those who could make a difference, asking police and councillors whose responsibility it was to make changes and what could be done to stop the violence.
