Redemption in Brampton: Brown takes mayoralty with a 4-point win

“Eighty-seven days: That’s how long it took Patrick Brown to win over Brampton.”


It was one of the biggest municipal election night stories in the GTA. After being ousted as leader of the Progressive Conservative party following allegations of sexual misconduct, Patrick Brown was able to win over the people of Brampton, unseating former mayor Linda Jeffrey to become the city’s next mayor. The excitement inside the room was incredible.
