Four-part Human Trafficking Series (AWARD WINNER)

Unfortunately, the links to these stories on The Oshawa Express website have gone dark. However, I’ve saved the PDFs of the printed versions in order continue sharing this incredibly important story (both in society and in my career).

I spent months investigating human trafficking in Durham Region, analyzing how the crime is proliferating in the region, what is being done to fight it, as well as talking with a survivor and learning what is being done to protect and heal them.

The four-part series was named the Best Feature New Series in Ontario in 2018 by the Ontario Community Newspapers Association.
